Greetings in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ!

Welcome to the premiere issue of “Having Church for Women!”

When I began to seek God’s direction on what He wanted me to share with His daughters for our premiere issue I was reminded of how my testimony of homelessness and overcoming domestic violence provides such a glorious testament of how wonderful the agape love our Father has for each of us. It is by hearing and sharing testimonies that we can see and feel His wondrous works.

Testimonies encourage, empower and inspire us. It reminds us that God is a restorer! And Melba Moore’s testimony is just that. Despite losing her home, money, her career, and not knowing where her daughter was for almost two years, Melba Moore remained standing. She walked by faith. Melba understood that the trials and tragedies that she had endured was to allow her to walk out of the wilderness; stronger, better and a servant for God. When I had the opportunity to talk with Melba Moore, I wanted to know immediately if she celebrated her past pain. She quickly answered, “yes.” No matter where you are at this moment, it may be dark, but there is a message–even in the present darkness. Celebrate the trials! Know that our Father promises to be your rear guard. Celebrate in advance your victory!
