As a former victim of domestic violence, Lady Sheals was held hostage emotionally, verbally, physically and financially in an abusive relationship that took finding strength in Christ, help and fervent prayers of friends to break free from a destructive path.

Sheals states, “As the first lady, people began to share their stories with me. At that time, I realized there were a lot of hurting people and that domestic abuse occurred even in the household of faith. That is when God gave me the vision for the ministry.”
